Exbury White Azalea - Rhododendron 'Exbury White'

Acquired from Dawes Arboretum plant sale 2008.

This deciduous Knap Hill azalea produces large white flowers with a yellow-orange blotch in mid-May. Hardier than evergreen azaleas, these deciduous forms can be planted in full sun and more exposed locations. They do rich, well-drained soil. Plant high if drainage is questionable. Hardy in USDA Zone 5.
